Nebraska Chamber Board & Policy Councils
Nebraska Chamber Board & Policy Councils
The Nebraska Chamber’s long history of accomplishments is due to the interest and participation of its members.
The Chamber is overseen by its board of directors, which is comprised of approximately 60 business leaders from around the state. Board members not only represent specific geographic regions of Nebraska, they represent sectors of commerce – ensuring that every major category of business has a voice in Chamber affairs.
Helping guide the board of directors are 12 policy-formulating councils, which are open to all State Chamber members. The Nebraska Chamber’s policy councils meet throughout the year to develop policies on issues affecting business, including state legislation.
The State Chamber policy councils are:
- Manufacturing
- Labor Relations
- Innovation & Technology
- Economic Development
- Health Care
- Taxation
- Education
- Environmental & Energy
- Agri-Business
- Small Business
- Chamber Executives Advisory
