 'Oct. 13 Seminar Will Explore Export Opportunities For Nebraska Businesses'

 On Oct. 13, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the Greater Omaha Chamber and the Nebraska Chamber will host an interactive seminar to explore opportunities for Nebraska businesses to sell their goods and services abroad.  The event will be held at Gavilon, LLC,

1331 Capitol Ave., 5th Floor, in Omaha.  The seminar -- titled "Go Global: Exploring Export Opportunities for Nebraska" -- will feature expert insights on current trade-related issues, including pending trade agreements.  It will also provide in-depth information on beginning, financing or expanding your business' exports.  Participants will include key experts from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Commercial Service, Nebraska Department of Economic Development, U.S. Small Business Administration, Nebraska Business Development Center, and the Midwest International Trade Association.  U.S. Congressman Brad Ashford is also slated to speak.  Cost is only $20 for chamber members or $40 for non-chamber members.  Registration fee includes a continental breakfast and refreshments.  Attendees must be registered in order to enter the building.  Register online -- or call Marion Holden at (402) 233-7151.
