Plan to attend the 2016 Federal Legislative Summit on August 4 at the Strategic Air & Space Museum near Ashland (just north of Interstate 80 Exit 426). 

This will be the eighth consecutive year for this high profile event hosted by the Nebraska Chamber, along with the Lincoln and Omaha Chambers. 

The summit will feature the following:

·      An update on key federal issues from Nebraska's U.S. senators and congressmen (invited);

·      A special presentation by keynote speaker Jay Timmons, president and CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the largest manufacturing association in the U.S. 

·      An in-depth look at Nebraska's workforce and population trends; and

·      An update on efforts to retain and grow Offutt Air Force Base, which brings Nebraska an estimated $1.3 billion in annual economic activity. 


Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. and the event will begin at 8:30 a.m.  A buffet lunch will be provided.  The event will conclude no later than 1 p.m. 


Registration fee is $95 for all State Chamber members, as well as members of any local chamber in Nebraska.
